Dr. Natalie Kiesey-Calding is a private obstetrician and gynaecologist practising in Cairns, and this is her private practice. She is a graduate of the Queensland training program for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, under the auspices of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). She holds accreditation for Nuchal Translucency Scanning via the Fetal Medicine Foundation, Kings College London as well as a Diploma in Advanced Obstetric Ultrasound which is a combined postgraduate diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) in the UK.
She is also certified in colposcopy as part of C-QuiP (Coposcopy Quality Improvement Program) as well as for "Novasure" endometrial ablation.
She currently teaches on the ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) faculty, has been asked to instruct for MOET (Managing Obstetric Emergencies and Trauma) and also to facilitate on the Anatomy of Complications course.
She is a clinical lecturer for the JCU medical students and examines in obstetrics and gynaecology at the JCU final exams every year. She also spends time teaching in house at the Cairns Private Hospital to the midwifery team and is author to several peer reviewed articles in "O&G Magazine".
